Linqer — reciprocal link sharing for creators and founders

Linqer is a credit-based community where you add up to three links, swipe through a queue of other members' posts, share the ones you genuinely like, and earn credits that push your own links toward the front. Every link you submit is listed on Linqer as a dofollow outbound link to your site (rel="ugc", not nofollow) on the public feed — before anyone shares you on social. When members promote your link on their channels, you gain extra reach and tracked clicks on top. Clicks on tracking links earn sharers +3 credits. Your public nickname appears on the feed and optional leaderboard — your email never does. For most founders this is a no-lose setup: on-site SEO value plus optional off-site amplification.

How Linqer works

1. Add links — paste a URL, title, caption, and optional image or short video (max 3 links per account).
2. Swipe the queue — on Review, skip or approve links from other members (not your own).
3. Share honestly — approved links open a share page: copy, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp, or Reddit. Use as many channels as you like, then tap Done sharing.
4. Earn credits — +1 when you complete a share for someone else; +3 when a visitor clicks your tracking link (once per visitor per 24 hours).
5. Climb the queue — more credits mean your links surface sooner for other sharers.

Dofollow links on Linqer — a no-lose proposition

Most link schemes ask you to give something up without a guaranteed return. Linqer is different:

• On-site dofollow: every active promotion appears on the Linqer feed and in the app with a direct dofollow link to your URL. We mark member links rel="ugc" (user-generated content), not nofollow. Search engines can follow these links to your site. This listing is live as soon as you submit — you do not wait for a share.
• Off-site reach: when other members choose to share your link on X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp, or Reddit, you gain distribution and click tracking through Linqer tracking URLs.
• Fair credit cost: you spend 1 credit when someone completes a promote of your link. You keep the on-site dofollow listing regardless, and clicks never deduct extra credits from you.

Privacy and public profile

• At registration you choose a leaderboard nickname (3–24 characters) and accept the Linqer Privacy Policy.
• Your nickname, link previews, titles, and destination URLs are public on the feed.
• Leaderboard shows nickname and aggregate stats only if you stay opted in — change both in your dashboard.
• Email addresses are never published. Click logs use hashed IPs, not raw addresses.

Credits at a glance

• Starting balance: 10 credits on signup.
• Share completed: +1 credit for you (the sharer), −1 credit for the link owner.

Do I get SEO / dofollow value from Linqer?

How do credits work?

What happens when someone clicks a shared link?

The person who shared the link receives +3 additional credits. The link owner does not lose any extra credits for the click — only the original 1 credit when the link was shared.

Do I lose credits when my link is clicked?

No. Clicks do not deduct additional credits. You only spend 1 credit when another member completes a share of your link.

Why do I lose a credit when someone shares my link?

The credit represents the value of another member promoting your content. It keeps the exchange fair: members both give and receive promotion. You refill credits by sharing others' links and earning click rewards.

Can I earn credits without submitting my own links?

Yes. Share other members' links and generate genuine clicks on your tracking links to build credits before you submit your own promotions.

Can my credits go negative?

No. Balances are floored at zero. If you are low on credits, your links may appear later in the queue until you earn more.

Why are clicks worth more than shares?

A click shows real interest. +3 for clicks versus +1 for completing a share encourages thoughtful promotion rather than posting without context.

What counts as a valid click?

Legitimate clicks via tracking links (/r/…). The same visitor on the same link is deduplicated for 24 hours (hashed IP). Bots, self-clicks, and artificial traffic may not earn credits.

Can I click my own shared links to earn credits?

No. The system rewards genuine engagement. Manipulating click counts may not earn credits and could lead to restrictions.

Is there a limit to how many credits I can earn?

No fixed lifetime cap in the current release. Credits follow the normal +1 share / +3 click rules, with click deduplication per visitor per link per 24 hours.

Can I share the same link again?

Yes — use Reset share queue in the app to clear your promote history so links can appear again. Each completed share applies the normal +1 / −1 transfer.

Is Linqer free?

Yes. Credits control queue priority, not access. There is no paid tier in the current release.

Is my email shown publicly?

No. Only your public nickname appears on the feed and optional leaderboard. Change your nickname or opt out in your dashboard. See the app Privacy Policy.

Does Linqer host my website?

No. Visitors reach your URL via tracking links. Preview images may be cached for the feed.
